Our Agents in Japan, Messrs. L. J. Healing & Co.Ltd.,
of Yokohama and Tokyo have just cabled us an order for a
machine value £345. 0. 0. which on enquiry we understand is
for the above firm. We understand other British firms are
shipping goods to this Company having made enquiry of your before
doing so. Our object in writing, however, is to have your
kind confirmation, if you will be so good as to give it to us,
at your early convenience that we shall be in order in accept-
ing the contract in question, and shipping the machine.
To might mention that it was only a reference in our
cabled order to the single word "Siemens" which enabled us to
trace the purchaser to whom our agents are evidently supplying
the goods.
